Caring For Your Belly Ring

Resizing / Rethreading

See our Resizing page. Cleaning / Sanitizing You should clean your flexible belly ring before inseting, or each time you put it in.  Because acrylic ends crack, you should not use alcohol on acrylic (plastic type) ends.  Alcohol is fine for the bars and steel balls.  If you want to clean acrylic ends, you can use warm water with a mild soap and rinse very well.   Certain acrylics such as our pearl coated items have a covering that may come off with repeated contact with water.    Please read details for each item to see if your jewelry has a coating that may be affected. Silver and pewter may be cleaned with toothpaste and a soft cloth.  If using a silver polishing cloth, or other polishing agent, you need to take special care not to let any part of it touch the bar for your safety. If your jewelry is made out of organic products like wood, bone, etc, they should not get wet at all, ever.  Alcohol is also not advised.
